Welcome to the Journal
I’ve been wanting to create a little more space to share things that don’t always fit neatly into an Instagram caption.
So, welcome to the journal.
Greta Harrison Home started as a place for my hand-drawn wallpapers, textiles and things for the home, but over time this little world has naturally grown to include so much more of what inspires my work — our house, the garden, things I’m making, things I’m cooking, what I’m wearing, places I love and all of the details I find myself saving, photographing or talking about with friends.
Instagram is wonderful for sharing the quick version of all of that, but there are so many things I want to go a little deeper on.
Sometimes that might be a behind-the-scenes look at developing a new pattern or packing wallpaper swatches in the studio. Other times it might be a house project, something I’ve learned in the garden, a recipe that has made it into our regular dinner rotation, a favorite coffee table book or just something I’ve found that I think is beautiful.
I spent years working as a product designer in tech before starting my studio in late 2024, and I think part of me will always be curious about how things are made, why something works and how the smallest details can completely change the experience of a space or an object.
That curiosity tends to spill into pretty much everything I do.
So rather than trying to keep all of those things in separate little boxes, I wanted to make a place for them to live together.
Think of this as an extension of what I already share — just with a little more room.
I’m excited to have you here.
